Judith Fischer, Move & ChangeJudith Fischer has a Bachelors Degree in Therapeutic Recreation from Southern Illinois University and a Masters Degree in Dance Therapy from Goddard College, with additional training as a personal and executive coach through MentorCoach, a program accredited by the International Coach Federation.

The Internal Family Systems trainings, Level 1 and Level 2, are her most recent endeavors of education to add to her experiential offerings as a psychotherapist, counselor and coach.

With board certification both as a dance-movement therapist and as a counseling professional, she worked first as a therapist in Northwestern University’s out-patient day hospital and at Children’s Memorial Hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Later, she became the Director of the Dance Therapy Department at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital, in Washington, D.C., and an Adjunct Professor and Internship Supervisor in Goucher College’s Graduate Program in Dance Therapy, in Baltimore, Maryland.

Over the last 40 years, Judith has provided extensive graduate-level training for mental health practitioners in both national and international settings, and she has also focused her work on community development through a series of Wellness Workshops. Since 1980, she has also maintained a private practice, serving individuals and organizations through an integration of psychotherapy, dance-movement therapy, movement consultation, and coaching.
